Privacy
What we collect when you shop with us, why, and how to have it removed — in plain English. The full legal policy is linked at the bottom and is the version that governs.
The short version
We collect what we need to take your order, get it to you, answer your email and keep the store secure. We don’t sell your personal information. You can ask us for a copy of it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@shopventora.co.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name, email, phone and the addresses you give us for billing and delivery.
- Payment details — handled by our payment providers. We see the card type and the last four digits, not the full number.
- Order details — what you bought, what you returned, and your order history with us.
- Messages — whatever you send us when you get in touch.
- Device and usage data — your IP address, browser and device type, and how you move through the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we use it
To process your payment, fulfil and ship your order, handle returns, answer your questions, keep the store working and secure, meet our legal and tax obligations, and — if you have opted in — send you marketing email you can unsubscribe from at any time. We also use it to show relevant advertising on other sites, including through Shopify’s advertising tools.
Who we share it with
Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the site and processes data on our behalf. We also share what is necessary with our payment providers, our fulfilment and shipping partners, our email provider, and the advertising platforms we use. Each of those parties handles your information under its own privacy notice. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or as part of a sale or restructure of the business.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and measure how the store is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of checkout may stop working if you do.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message. If you live somewhere with a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising, you can exercise it on our privacy choices page. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser.
To make any of these requests, email support@shopventora.co. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we’ll respond within the time the law where you live allows.
Children
Our store isn’t intended for children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Keeping it, and keeping it safe
We keep personal information only as long as we need it to run your account, complete orders, meet tax and legal requirements and resolve disputes. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information to us by unencrypted email.
Where it is processed
Your information may be stored and processed outside the country you live in, including in the United States and Australia. Where we transfer data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes
If this page changes we’ll update the date below. Material changes will be signposted on the site.
The full policy
The complete privacy policy — including every category of information, the full list of disclosures and your statutory rights — is the version at our privacy policy. If anything on this page reads differently from it, the full policy governs. Shopify’s own handling of your data is described in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
